I don't have USB on my main, everyday 7600/G3 and I have
no wish to switch anything either (everything is working
so well...).

I have another 7600/orig. processor networked which I use
as a backup computer. So, I stuck a cheap USB card in that
one; when I need to capture photos or whatever I do it
from there. Grab anything I need from the main computer
with filesharing. For what I do, this doesn't seem too
cumbersome.
