Do you use a lot of extensions/control panels? Do you have a lot of external devices?
IMHO, you are correct to have cold feet about changing systems. Usually it requires considerable time and effort. I change systems only on an extra harddrive. (or on an extra partition of an internal drive.) I keep my current system untouched. Recently i started the upgrade process to 9.1. I installed it on an external drive, then started from 9.1. No problem, but without my favorite extensions, I was not very happy. I installed some of my favorite extensions. Then i had to install the printer drivers. And, then i was too tired to find & install the info needed for internet dialup. So, after playing with 9.1 for a while, i am now back to 8.6. Someday, i will get 9.1 ready for full usage. hth [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > I am currently running OS 8.5 on my 7300/200, 360-ish of RAM.
