SCSI Probe sees the missing disk, tries to mount it but can't.
Interestingly, it shows the ATA Maxtor ID as SCSI 2, ID 0 which is
what I recall it was before the problem. The 8.6 ASP and Drive Setup
say it is SCSI 2, ID 2 ? ('Course the jumpers have been swapped sooo
many times now.) Drive Setup can't mount it either.

I'm still hoping for some miracle breakthrough on this Maxtor drive
problem. Are their any "tricks" anyone is aware of that would allow
Disk Warrior to see the drive in order to be able to select it and
allow the program to do it's thing? I can only see the drive in ASP
(two of the partitions) and when I go through the steps towards
initializing the disc in Drive Setup I get a warning that all the
data on the THREE partitions will be destroyed. That's what is so
annoying...I KNOW they still exist. I'm about ready to give up and
blow it away. Initialize again and start over, assuming it will mount
easily after re-initializing. Thanks if anyone can offer suggestions
for a last ditch effort.

Mike
