PcMacLan, never would have guessed. ;)
Daves a ugly, heavy program by comparison.
I did forget fast but I thought I'd leave that for later. I burn files
through appletalk from the pc to the FW burner on the 7300, the burners
old now at x8 so I don't know how much faster I can go but it gives you
a idea of what pcmaclan can do.
Chooser--pc drive--find .iso--drop onto toast--burn
Runs rings around netatalk. Linux is a million miles from a proper
desktop replacement, that's not to say its not a million miles closer
than last year.

Printers, have you checked the Postscript Director utility in Miramar's
support page?

Internet Connection Sharing between Win98SE, 2000 or
XP is easy. Full networking requires a 3rd party
product like DAVE on the Mac or PC MacLAN on Windows.
Or Windows NT Server or 2000 Server/Advanced Server
which has Services For Macintosh. I don't know if
Windows .NET server (now Windows Server 2003) has
Services For Macintosh or not. Since OSX is built on
BSD, Samba (SMB or Server Message Block) is available
for it and networking with Windows works just like
with BSD, Unix, Linux and any other non-Windows
app that supports Samba/SMB.

Not my words, too easy to read. :) I'm happy with my v7.2 MacLan, Win9x
and a room full of macs.
