And what software might that be? The CP that I have (MACh Speed Control) only shows processor speed.
Did you get your xlr8 carrier from Daystar Technologies? They should have included a CD: xlr8 CD 2, universal installer.
If you are running OS 9, go to the Apple Menu>Control Panels>XLR8 Mach Speed Control. When it opens the first tab that is open has something like a schematic that gives a visual representation of the MoBo, L2 cache, and Ram interaction. On this page it also gives you details about the bus speed of your computer. On this upgraded 7500, for example, the bus speed shows at 45.5 mhz and the card is adjusted to meet that bus speed. The 7600 registered a 46 mhz bus, so I used the dip switch settings to match that bus speed and achieve the desired processor speed (300 mhz).
Contact me off list if your software doesn't have this control panel, or even better, if you bought the card from daystar techonogy, see if they might help you out with a CD that should have been included with the purchase.
