I still can't understand how the test page activated itself, but then, this is consistent with the other malfunc=tions the 9600 is producing... it's started dialling out spontaneously again (some of the advice I got for stopping this was bad... prevented IE5 from even trying to dial out and produced problems connecting from e-mail links).


LW Utility malfunctions and tries to tell me the selected printer isn't a LaserWriter, and to select one from the Chooser! What's WITH this machine? The" LaserWriter Pro 630 v2010.130" script is selected (running through LaserWriter 8 Chooser icon), though the Chooser is having STILL trouble connecting.


So LW Utility comes up with disabled menus, so I CAN'T turn the test page off.
