Turn it off with the LaserWriter Utility.

I still can't understand how the test page activated itself, but then, this is consistent with the other malfunc=tions the 9600 is producing... it's started dialling out spontaneously again (some of the advice I got for stopping this was bad... prevented IE5 from even trying to dial out and produced problems connecting from e-mail links).

I think with all the strange happenings you've had with your computer (including mailboxes creating themselves) it is one of two possibilities. Either your computer has developed A.I. or you have a computer ghost. There is also a remote possibility that these occurrences are somehow directly related to something you have done. ;-)

I have found if something unusual is going on with my computer, that
I have done something to screw it up! Otherwise it's generally a case
of finding out what things aren't playing well together. Again, can
usually be traced to something that was either changed, added or
subtracted to the configuration.

Suggestion: Log your current settings and take some notes when
troubleshooting or making changes to your system or settings. Then it
is easier to retrace your steps and figure out why something might be
happening. Just thought I'd throw in my 2 worth of simple
commonsense advise.
