Question 1:

Being on slow dial-up, I'm not easily able to download the huge upgrade
file for OS 9.1. So I bought a hard drive on eBay with 9.1 installed, and
will upgrade my OS 9.0.4 piece by piece. What pieces of the later system
would YOU recommend to override my current system? (I'm using a hybrid 7600/
G3.)

Question 2 - and this is not offtopice:

I need to connect my KDS XtremeFlat monitor to my old Pentium Linux box AS
WELL AS my hybrid PCI MAChine. I bought the switch from RadioShack. Alas,
neither of the two RadioShacks in town, nor the Wallmart, nor any place
similar, has the cables. So what I need are the two cables, for the VGA/
SVGA* monitor.... What do I call such cables, exactly? Where would YOU buy
such cables? Cheapest? Anyone have any they want to sell me? (I have no
trouble with used merchandise, as long as its cheaper than new, and works.)

-t

*I have the adapter, of course, that allows the KDS to use my Mac's PCI
video card.
