I have just bought a Radius 2330 Firewire card from eBay and was wondering if anyone has any comments about it (good or bad), it has no S/W and I am hoping to use it in a 7300 with 9.1, I understand that it is only a 200mb/s chipset so it is probably not the fastest thing on earth, I have also added the optional components to supply the 5V port power (PolyFuse, Diode & Choke) and I hope that it will run my portable HDD. Is this card going to be any good ?? or am I better off ditching it and getting something newer? Many thanks, Ben.
