Last month, I bought the following G3 card from OWC for my PM9500

        Sonnet Crescendo/PCI G3/400 MHz
        w/1024K Backside Cache 2:1 -
        For PCI based Macs.
        New with 3yr Sonnet Warranty.
        $115.00

It's tiny, (~3"x3"), compared to the NewerTech G3/300 MAXpowr card I bought over three years ago for my PM8500.

I've seen cards for as low as $85 on the swap list, but a 3 year warranty, and the certainty of whom I was dealing with, was worth the extra $30 to me.

They have PCI G3 upgrade cards for about $110 and up.
If you can afford to, get a G3 card that has 1MB of on-card cache.
