There are Video cards that work in PCI slots and video cards that are (I assume) faster that work in AGP slots. (66 vs 33 mhz if memory serves?) I don't see why an AGP video card could not be made to work in a PCI slot (at 1/2 speed probably) It would be a matter of adapting the AGP inputs/outputs to the PCI slot's. If it is worth the technology investment to slow a readily available and reasonably priced card down so that it could be used in a slower Mac would be my question. (Shades of the abandonment of adapters for newer technologies such as USB and Firewire for NUBUS macs because of the arrival of PCI macs.)
