Hi.....Gavin, the swap you mention is way simple! It requires taking out the Quadra logic board ( 1 screw inside the plastic pylon) and installing the 6100 board. You also need to swap out the plastic back-plate to accommodate the HD-45 Video port. The RAM is still 72-pin SIMMs (32mbx2=64mb + 8 native=72mb) If you are in need of any more info, I'm sure the folks at *1st-power Macs* list can help.....since the conversion is still a Nubus Mac.....not a PCI Mac. mikie
