Howdy!! Well as far as upgrade cards go, I've inclined to Powerlogix cards. I've used one in my 7300 for two years now and its never failed to deliver. I've never had any incompatibility issues with hardware or software. I picked mine up on ebay for around $100. Onto the subject of video cards, ATI seems to have the best support for the Classic mac OS. I'd reccomend first a PCI Radeon 7000 Mac edition. They run about $120 new, you can find used ones on ebay for around $80. It has 32 mb of Video ram, good quality very fast card. Then theres also the ATI Rage 128 PCI which was the stock card in blue & white G3 towers. The one to get is the 16 mb version. I've seen those for around $40-$60. But the BEST upgrade you can make is more RAM. RAM is like money you can never have enough. I'd reccomend at least 256mb if not 512 or more. Your 9500 tower can use up to 1.5 GB of RAM. but for most folks around 500 mb is sufficient. Hope all this helps! -- J. Blanton Austin Tx 78749 "You'd PAY to know what you REALLY think." --J.R.
