Hi listers,
As I mentioned in my previouos post about putting a
Radeon 7000 in my 9600, I'm getting this machine ready
for Panther.
I'm running a Formac G3 400 cpu card in it, and was
wondering if there are any issues with this card and
OSX. I don't think formac supports it at all anymore
as they long ago got out of the upgrade card business.
I was thinking either the xpostfacto cache enabler or
OWC cacheconfig instead of the Formac control panel
that is currently used to enable the cache would be
the thing to try.
Anybody have any experience with this card or any
suggestions?
I think in the long run I'll jump to a sonnet G4 card,
but not just yet. I want to see how well panther will
run on this card first, if it'll run at all.
