$270 plus the cost of the Radeon 9200 PCI video card and more RAM does start to add up. I know the temptation, it is a sort of inertia paradoxically, to go on with the devil one knows and loves but I do agree with Bruce Johnson. Perhaps really, if you need OS X, go buy a machine for it. You have not invested heavily yet... You'll not overcome the bus limitation and it might become increasingly frustrating from now on... best of luck anyway...
