Makes one wonder why Apple made it a touch tricky to get the memory control
panel to show the memory test. Is it really so important to catch a failed
chip when it happens, it could be but probably isn't in the normal course of
things. I mean, it could be years before such a thing happens. Sure, if one
is installing new memory one should be able to turn it on. Maybe it would be
better to have it triggered if there is a freeze or incorrect shutdown (like
Disk First Aid). All this especially considering it is not a very good RAM
test.
