I seem to have lost mine, and need it. I was just looking and OtherWorld www.macsales.com has one for $35, but says it needs G3 (?).
IS there really a G3 only installer? I need it to install on a 8500/G3 but it has no working system at the moment.
Mail me off list with your address and I can maybe find one of my old 'spare' discs for you that I know works on a 9600.
Or you could try Wish I Were. Allows you to change Gestalt ID to one the installer may recognize; not sure what are the latest models it has gestalts for, but it's worth a look. Download link here:
