I once used headphones to answer phone, left me with Tinnitus (mild I
think), what can come thru is a bit unpredicable like fax screeches and
stuff. Been shy of head phones ever since. Sure, if they are set up well,
and nothing goes wrong as you listen, but the short pathway is also the
riskiest feature. Just thought I would add my 2 cents worth, Prof. (I don't
want any of my young impressionable lammikans on this fine Mac list to
suffer this awful thing...
