i was given an 8500, just started playing with it last night, looking up hotrodding upgrades for it. i've forgotten the rule of thumb: remind me again? how do you calculate how fast a cpu upgrade it can take? wasn't it the bus speed, times 8? and if the bus speed is a multiple of 50, then times ten [10]?? help me recall the old wisdom, here, friends. I've been away for months.
