Apple System Profiler should tell you. (You remind me to write a simple prgm
in basic or javascript to calculate this. Enter the slots, the total, the
possible individual sizes (8,16 etc) and it will tell the possible
breakdowns. I have often gotten pencil and paper to do this to work out what
someone, whose computer I am not, at has.. like on eBay when eyeing some
possible bargain for its RAM)
