Georgia, the 8600 is a pretty decent machine. To run OS X on it, you do have to do some hacking (XPostFacto), but, it's perfectly happy running MacOS 9.2.2... I'm currently using a 9600/350 with a G3 processor and 576MB of RAM. Works great for internet usage and other normal tasks. -J
