I think I knew this at one time but...

I have an 8600 that I just put more RAM into.  Now I just get the
"Happy Mac" on startup but nothing else.  I'm assuming that  indicates I
have a good system drive (I didn't change the drive) but there is a
problem with the RAM I put in.  Is that correct?

When adding or subtracting cards, DIMMs etc it is a good idea to always reset the CUDA button near the processor board. Push and hold down 30-60 seconds.

Then he should be really smiling.
