BeOS will run just fine with G3 processor card upgrades. AFAIK that extends to L2 cache upgrades. I'm not staking my life on that though ;-) The BeOS only needs MacOS to itterate through the device tree - it can work out what the processor is directly, so the "control panel" and or extension probably will not make any difference, unless the card itself requires the extension to configure it in software. What you *may* find is that your media services go a little wrong.
