My 7600 (OS 9.1) has a USB card that has been good for the pro mouse for ages but on the odd occasion I have tried anything else at all, no luck... Latest thing to come into my possession is a USB "keyring" size stick, a so called USB 2 128MB "mass storage device". I know I have not got 2.0 on the 7600 (but it works fine on a PC on both the 2.0 and slower 1.0 usb ports). I have USB Device Extension (from USB AdapterCard Support 1.2), USB Mass Storage Support (from OS 9.1), USB Support (from USB AdapterCard Support 1.2) enabled in extensions. Anything I can do to improve my chances of not having to give this nifty thing to my daughter who already has been given a super PC with USB 2 and the lot... Why shouldn't I enjoy this? It's mine (it came with my new LCD screen). Why shouldn't I have new things occasionally... that work?

David how did you get such an odd lot of USB extensions?
Either from an OS 9.1 install disk or as a DL from the Apple site get the USB Card Support extensions 1.4.1.
I never could get anything at all working before another lister lead me to it.
And you're right David don't let the kids have all the toys or you won't have anything left to play with. I keep telling my God-daughter that when she gets a case of the " gimmees " !
