Hey Andrew, Those notches are different for a reason, DON'T change them! The difference is that your Mac uses 5V DIMMs and a PC uses 3.3V DIMMS... they are NOT the same. You might get lucky and find some IBM RS/6000 DIMMS that will work as they were Motorola based too. But the PC DIMMs you have are a no-go.
