[PCI] Buzzing 6500

Good Day... I'm having a buzzing sound that's coming and going in my 
6500 PowerMac CPU... BUZZING that tapers off like someone accellerating 
and then letting off the car gas peddle...a cyclic repeating sound.
[Sounds like a Killer Bee in a jar after being shaken hard].

It went on for awhile then stopped doing it...then doing it again.
It's worrying me BIG TIME :-)
I don't suppose anyone would know what part of my computer is failing 
would you?

I've replaced the hard drive and fan before but never the power supply. 
 It does sound like the noise is coming from the back, where the power 
supply is... but it's hard to pin down.

Do you have any advice for me?
