Might you folks have any clues what the culprit(s) might be when my 
FrankenMacs' Finder restarts upon waking up? This seems to happen when Internet 
Exploder 5.17 was running. 

  I use Comcast Cable on OS9.1, and have a 21" on the built-in video (4MB) and 
a 17" on a Matrox PCI card. Also added is a Firewire/USB combo card and a 18GB 
IBM drive (3 partitions) in addition to the original 2GB unit, which contains 
the system. The XLR8 G3/500 is running @ 467MHz.

  This instability has been creeping up over the last few months, but the extra 
hardware has been a part of Frankie for a couple years.

Don't know what I'd do without this list.....
