Thanks for the info.. I can check on the Perform 6400 modem...

As for Geoport, I believe you're right, as I had a Geoport Telecom Adaptor
(aka external 28.8k modem?) and it worked fine in my PM 8600, but plugged it
into my Beige G3 desktop and it didnt work.. d'oh...
