_____________________________________I need to find a browser that is 128-bit encryption enabled for my PM7200 w/OS8.6. Currently I'm using Mozilla and iCab and Netscape Communicator 4.5. Looking into the Netscape Preferences it looks like the encryption is turned on, but how do I tell? Is there a test web site that will tell me? I need to know because my ISP is folding and trying to put me into Earthlink, which requires the 128-bit. I'm pretty sure Netscape 7 has the 128-bit but I'm not at all sure my PM7200 will run it, and I expect it would be very slow if it could. Netscape 4.5 is slow enough that I almost always use iCab or Mozilla instead.
Any help appreciated.
A cheap idea is get a 7300-7500 Mobo and cpu . You will need (probably) OS 9 to run NS 7 ( I did). And the older cpus will really drag. I use a G3 300.
Earthlink should allow Mozilla though. But not sure. -- Adrian
