Not quite sure who "he" is but anyway... You are right, we are all right
about surfaces mattering. I used a broadsheet newspaper magazine lift out
and it was better than my (yes! cloth) mouse pad. But my pine top desk is
best so far, it is beeswaxed (actually a sturdy thing I made), there are few
knots and none under the mouse area. I am going to experiment with various
pads further, I will make a smooth surfaced uniform coloured thing...

But anyway, wireless mice are for me in the future now that I have tried
one! I will ask something about these in another post because I know Adrian
is a stickler for relevance and subject topic   :)
