Wait, it's much more than that.

The A/V reference was to 16 bit Audio input/output and 24 bit S-Video input 
on the 7500/7600 mobo's. The 8500 board (which also fits in a 7200) will also 
provide S-Video out.

I find it great to have RCA audio jacks on my 7500's which I can hook up to 
my stereo without any extra adapters and input audio from my old LP's and 
Cassettes and then convert them to CD's. And of course I can feed all my iTunes 
mp3's to my stereo as well -- don't know how to do this with a 7300 mobo 
without 
the A/V capability.

And with the 8500 mobo perhaps you could do the same with old VCR tapes and 
convert them to VCD's. --glen (digest mode)
