The NVRAM stores a list of drives to poll also I believe.
Which one mentioned would be an external ( e.g. peripheral ) the 300I? -- Adrian
My CD-ROM is in the 8500 case. Seems no different, disconn./connecting internal SCSI items and/or external peripheral stuff. So, CUDA is mostly, or only for changes of processors/proc. upgrades? What does CUDA mean? Pressing the lil button is 'after' a processor change? (power Off, right ;o)
YooperJimKilp- good night.
_____________
Sorry I ever said after.
I should have said "during" a change" or " when changing"
What is unclear is how many times you made changes.
At any rate hit the Cuda with each change. Even a drive changeover. As I still feel drive ID info may be stored in NVRAM that the CUDA
resets.
Anyone having info to the contrary can school us. We have developers and techies on this list.
