You should be reasonably ok on 9.1. (I went back to IE 5.1.6. no luck with .7, there's almost no difference, few things about security which pretty well you can be unconcerned about on Mac. But somehow my attempt at .7 never worked right and I could not be bothered to find out why...) Very recently I gave some advice about this issue of IE working... I listed my prefs and made suggestions about RAM and stuff. You might care to find it in archives or something I can't believe you would dare to actually throw my posts off your computer so do a Sherlock on your drives or email program or whatever? If not, look them up in relation to Ginny's questions...) About eBay in particular: they sometimes go down or do housework on their stuff or are very busy. You might throw out your cache and histories and try again... They also try to hook up to your cookies and get specific ads and pages on a topic that you might once have searched on their site... You could try cleaning cookies out (but don't say no to accepting them) If it is just eBay, it should be temporary and not your IE browser (I am looking at it on IE 5.1.6 and OS 9.1 right now fine, slow to load but...). But better to use Mozilla Wacom 1.3 tabbed browsing for ebay and stay sane... David Elmo -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
