Apple has spoken to Intel, but I highly doubt it's to put their crap
processors in Macs. Jobs has said as much too. oiy, the years of
OS and app rewrites that would require!
One possibility tho... IBM is having a hard time cranking out
PowerPC G5 chips for Apple. Intel has some dying Pentium lines
(fabrication facilities becoming available). If Intel were to crank
out PowerPC's for IBM.........

Yeah that makes sense. What I heard made no mention of it though.
They sounded like an Intel badged processor was the point of the
whole
meeting. Intel wouldn't get business news and industry buzz if the
chips were IBM badged.
Their chips work fine under UNIX and Linux so, what the hey !
