I would say this is good advice. Never felt comfortable with any drive that
does not have a fair bit of free space... One can manage flying closer to
the wind if one knows where the VM is, where the scratch disks are for
various programs etc (mostly these are actually setable in preferences in
programs, eg. Photoshop... where you can assign primary and secondary and
more sometimes...
