The jumper block of the SCSI CD-ROM mentioned in my last post is like this:
. . . . . . . . . . . . . 7 top row pins and 6 low, one missing (not there at all, there is a hole for it but this hole is empty). Moving from left to right, the first pair (top and bottom) is parity. The next 3 pairs are ID. The last, the 7th is "termination power". That leaves the 5th and 6th. The 6th may be to terminate the device at the end of a chain. Or is there some defect in the 5th, missing pin one and this is meant for termination? This is why I want a pdf on it. I've looked and can't find one. Anyone welcome to put egg on my face and tell me where just under my nose it might be... :) David Elmo -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
