I think in my research for my PM 7600 in order to run airport you need 9.2
and my 7600 doesn't support that (it's running 9.1). I have tried a Linksys
Ethernet bridge with no luck so far. Doesn't come with Mac software. I can
see the Linksys network on my other Airport based computers (G3, G4's
running OSX) but can't  really access the base station on the 7600. I
considering using XPostFacto to install OSX and using an Airport Express I
have.

I also have an Ethernet hub but would then need to run Ethernet cable from
upstairs to downstairs and that would be a pain.

Maybe someone on this list knows the answer.
