So what do you use to search your own drives? I use it as I have always used
Find File. Indispensable. I use it to search for files/folder names and also
for content (after indexing). Like you, I don't use it for internet (I seem
to have fallen in with Google...), though I did once when it came out... but
Google is simpler and quicker.

I don't know what the problem is, I think something in Mozilla slows it down
and can do so to the point of it seeming not to function at all for text
entry (or any deletion...). I have doubled the memory and will see how this
goes, it might be the go. When I start Mozilla, at first, all seems ok when
I switch to Sherlock. There is a slowdown when a big page is loading. I will
test further.

It has not been doing it just now, either before or after the memory change
but i have only just logged on.

I do know this, that when I have severe such problem, quitting moz fixes
Sherlock!
