Yes, you can easily add another SCSI drive with your existing drive (and yes, it is SCSI). There should be another connector on the ribbon cable that connects your existing drive to the computer; connect your next SCSI drive to this unused connector. There is also (pretty sure) an extra power connector (or two), that you will also need to connect to your new drive. Make sure that you select a SCSI 'address' number not currently used by anything else on your computer. Just follow the instructions that will probably come with your drive, or located on the label on the drive itself. There are small, free programs that will scan the SCSI busses and tell you what numbers are used and which address numbers are available for a new drive or SCSI device. If you want to really increase the speed of your hard drive, buy an ATA drive controller card ($75 or less) and add a new, huge, fast, and cheap, ATA (also known as an IDE) drive, like those typically used on PCs. I did that with my 9500, and WOW! what a difference. MUCH faster than the SCSI drives with the computer's built-in SCSI bus! It made almost all operations faster. And it was very straightforward to do. --Alex -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
