The 9500 is a complete nightmare to take apart and do any work with
internally, but it is blessed with two seperate internal SCSI busses. One of
the busses supplies the external connector, te other is the usual one used
by the internal SCSI devices. There is a connector for the non-usual bus
inside thoug, and I've successfully hooked up drives to it (e.g. a 40GB SCSI
drive whicj refused to function correctly on the other bus. You can still
add other drives to the external Bbus too, just then have to be careful
about SCSI ID's.

Beware though, the second SCSI connector is obscured from access unless you
pull the logic board out. Definately works though ;-)

Hope that helps,

M
