I recall having to reinstall this Mozilla twice before it worked properly re
bookmarks...

Make sure there are lots and lots of further things within the folders I
mentioned, there are just too many to list here. Some files are aliases and
need to know where the originals are. I forget exactly how I organised
things but what I have now is a folder at the top level of the HD called
Internet in which I have all my browsers and email folders. I have a folder
in my System Folder called Internet Plug-Ins in which I have:

nsIQTScriptablePlugin.xpt
QuickTime Plugin
QuickTimePlugin.class

And a folder called Plug-ins in which I have a couple of aliases:

QuickTime Plugin
QuickTimePlugin.class

which point to the first folder items (I forget the reasons, probably some
other browsers got used to different paths).

I should mention (because QT seems important to browsers on the mac) I have
a folder in my Extensions in my System Folder called "QuickTime Extensions"
and the foillowing loose:

QuickTime MPEG2
QuickTime
QuickTime MPEG Extension
QuickTime Musical Instruments
QuickTime PowerPlug
QuickTime VR

If all else fails, try reinstalling. Download again. Restart with base
extensions and see how you go...

I feel your pain.

David Elmo
