<< Has anyone out there owned Diskwarrior 2.0 and 2.1? I'm trying to
determine

the differences between the two verions and, being legacy software, there's

not a whole lot out there to break that down.

I need to work with a drive that's started to go south, running 9.1. I can

get both versions of DW, but the price difference is pretty substantial.

I'd like to go with 2.0 if I could get away with it, but I have a strong

feeling that 2.1 has functionality that I'd want to have. Any ideas?>>

AFAIK the only thing 2.1 adds is a feature which compares the folders on the
volume you're checking with the directory just rebuilt by DW, so you can see
if there are any changes before telling DW to go ahead and install the new
directory. I have always just clicked "OK" to rebuild anyway even if it says
there have been changes and nothing bad has ever happened(OS 9.1). DW2.0
works
well for me, too.

Let me know if you want me to email you the 2.1 Read Me file, or if I can try
to answer further questions.
