1 Remove the CD-ROM shield, the blank shield, and the floppy drive shield from the front of the unit. 2 Disconnect the SCSI cable and hard drive power cable from the back of the hard drive. Power Cable 3 Pull up the retaining clip at the back of the hard drive and push back the hard drive to remove it from the drive chassis. One of the easier Macs to work on.
