While you could use either a PCI card or USB
dongle on your 7600 and probably later models I
don't see much advantage to using them. An
Airport card in newer model would be a better
solution.
As far as in a decade or so, well who knows what
wireless technology will be in place then. Odds
are it won't work with current tech without some
kind of adapter.
I have seen some routers for 39.99 but wonder if
the USB 1 is the thing or if there are bottle
necks or other lurking things to worry about?
I don't follow this.
It's hard to give recommendations when we don't
know what your set up is. What else is on the
network?
