I have a PM 7600 366Mhz G3 with mac OS 9.0.4 I have tried setting the tcp/ip setting to both manual and DHCP. It will not talk to my router. I've verified the cable and port are good by plugging in the same cable into my XP box beside the mac. It works fine on there.
This is using the on board ethernet. Instead of giving me a IP addy in the 192.168.0.x range its in the 169.254.140.x range. My whole network is setup with my dynex router serving my VoIP Phone, and 2 XP boxes all with 192.168.0.x range addys. Anyone have an idea why this is or what i can do to fix it?
