Well, mine does come up in system profiler as pci109e, 350 and I have a USB 
card that comes up similarly.  Without drivers, they won't have any names.  
Although, I think that iTV or XTelevision has the driver built in.  I am sure 
that back when I was trying to get it to work, that at some point, I got an 
XTelevision working without a driver load error(but of course, no picture = no 
OpenGL).

I don't know if that is good news for you or what.
