WELL, now we know what may work, WHERE would we get them? I have an
older 8500 with a G3 card.. it says 333mhz under 9, but 300 under
X.... was there ANY dual G3 or G4 made for the older PCI thingies?

Yes But I live in an area of Sweden that does not and will not have
Broadband. I am on a dial up and an OS is beyound downloading. I
live deep
in the countryside and even a dial up is not stable. Oh hum the
joys of so
called 'Modern' technology!.
Sounds like Andy can help you out wrt the OS 9 kit itself.
If, after that, you still need the standard updates, lemme know off
