Hi List ,
I have worked on a 9500,that was given to me as a server, to use as a
dedicated ebay computer.
I have put two 18 gB drives in it and loaded 9.2.2.
It is 120mHz and has proven to be too slow to be useful.
Profiler says it is a 9500 series but also follows with a WGS 9650 series,
what does this mean ?
It has 152 MB of memory, external L2 cashe of 512 MB and is a power PC 604,
I have a spare 8600 mach 5 MOBO, can it work in the 9500 case?
The connectors on the edge look like they would match up.
The only item I will need, if it will work, is the processor and it's
board.and some memory.
Or will I be better served to buy an 8600?
Any thoughts or advice will be most welcome.
Regards Wm.--
