Adding proxy software to a Mac on OS 7.5.5 sounds like too much
trouble to me. Easier to just use one of the millions of open PC
proxys out there.
Pretty harsh school policy, in my opinion, and I worry about how
realistic a perspective they can provide if the block the "rest of
the planet".
I agree, but only to a point. Schools block things for a reason - be
it to protect children, or due to some sort of liability paranoia...
If he circumnavigates that block, he's bound to be violating some
school policy. What could possibly be out there that's worth the
risk of being smaked/suspended/etc? Why not just do the surfing from
home?
