Would OS X tiger install form a burned copy? Where would I find the
license number like for windows. I know when I do winxp machines I
can install form a burned copy of windows as long as I make sure to
properly use the license number from the OEM sticker and activate it
properly. Can I do the same with OS X?

I'm hoping you're not illegally copying Tiger, since nobody on this list
wants to condone piracy; Let's assume it's a personal backup. It's
perfectly possible to install Tiger from copies of the DVD or CDs. No
serial number required.
